Emmy London Unveils The New Exclusive Corinthia London Collection

Emmy London’s Corinthia Collection has arrived and we are so excited to tell you all about it!
We held an exclusive press breakfast at the Corinthia Hotel where members of the press were able to take photographs of the new collection, enjoy breakfast canapes and speak to Emmy Scarterfieldabout her latest designs. Footage of the design process and craftsmanship that has contributed to the making of Emmy London’s Corinthia collection was also shown.
The design influence of these exquisite shoes has come from the inspiring interior and heritage of this luxury London hotel and most importantly its renowned Baccarat Crystal Chandelier fondly referred to as the ‘heart of the hotel.’
A quick interview with Emmy allowed the press to ask questions and find out a little more about her vision behind the collection.
Emmy Scarterfield: Creative Director says:
‘’I adore the Corinthia Hotel, it is such a beautiful luxurious space to spend time in. Within the architecture and styling, the hotel has created a perfect balance of historical references with modern touches. Previous collections have been inspired by destinations and architecture around the world so it was great to gain inspiration closer to home and celebrate the brands London heritage.’’
During the morning, the shoes were displayed as separate works of art that glistened on immaculate mirrored discs. These sat above the most beautiful arrangements of crisp white roses.
The collection embraces circle and loop formations, incorporating ornate glass beadwork, delicate stitching and crystal sequins alongside bugle beads, and metallic edging. From sleek slingbacks to stiletto courts adorned with statement sparkle, the collection is delicate, feminine and timeless, drawing upon Emmy’s signature attention to detail.
The iconic Baccarat chandelier holds a single statement red ruby at its core and in association to this, each shoe within the collection is hand finished with a single red crystal on the sole - the finishing touch that Emmy London’s shoes are so famous for.
