The Biggest Bridal Trends From This Year’s Virtual New York Bridal Week 2020

The Biggest Bridal Trends From This Year’s Virtual New York Bridal Week 2020 article image

Sophisticated sparkles, flowing capes and timeless silhouettes... this year’s New York Bridal Week definitely did not disappoint. Even though this year the catwalk was swapped to the laptop, you could still feel the excitement and magic as the designers debuted their new, innovative designs.

It is the perfect time to celebrate the world of weddings and the sheer talent and love surrounding the industry. A chance to remind brides that their day will come and when it does they will be dressed beautifully from head to toe.
We have chosen our three favourite looks and styled them with our new bridal collection. Take inspiration from our styling mood boards and begin the journey towards creating your own fabulous bridal outfit.

Sophisticated Sparkles

Dressed head to toe in sparkles. We can’t  think of a better way to be spending your wedding day? We are loving these elegant and sophisticated sparkly gowns from the new Fall 2021 collections by designers Neta Dover Couture and Lee Petra Grebenau

These gorgeous gowns not only emit a beautiful sense of magic as they glisten and shine in the light, they also highlight the couture craftsmanship and skill taken to hand-stitch and create.

What a better shoe to pair with than our Savannah bridal shoe. Savannah is an example of our highest craftsmanship as each shoe is hand stitched with Swarovski crystals to create an intricate design. The must have shoe for brides who want to turn heads on their wedding day in their show-stopping shoes.

 Flowing movement

Our second look is inspired by the beauty of nature and the sense of freedom. These mesmerising bridal gowns by Jesus Peiro, Ines Di Santo and Edem evoke a sense of movement and playful eccentricity as they play to the feminine side of a woman's beauty.

The floaty materials create the sense of freedom to dance and flow. Mirroring this feeling is our Colette bridal shoe. Colette was inspired by ballet ribbons and the sense of movement and femininity that they evoke. Colette is both practical and stylish, making her a joy to wear on your big day. She creates a feeling of lightness, ensuring that you float through your day on cloud nine.

Timeless silhouettes

Lastly we have taken inspiration from the Timeless silhouettes created by Sareh Nouri and Anne Barge. These clean and structured gowns create a sense of tranquillity and serenity during a year of unprecedented changes.

These statement gowns are classic and chic with hand draping and beautiful statement bows which add a modern feminine touch to an ultra femme classic.

We have styled this look with our classic court style Harriet. The modern and timeless silhouette can be adapted with the beautiful bow sash. This style represents true grace, romance and modernity.
